A powerfully flavoured, but astonishingly elegant wine from multi award winning Lomond Estates
Made from handpicked grapes, the wine has delicate aromas of citrus, pineapple and a mix of delicous tropical fruits.
- Silver IWC Award Winner 2012
Excellent on its own or served with fresh green salads, seafood such as fresh oysters, or white meat dishes.
The owners of Lomond are pioneers. They have taken virgin, unchartered territory and boldly planted vineyards where none had been before. Lomond Wine Estate is situated on the southernmost tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. It's an exciting new wine producing region, which is rapidly gaining a worldwide reputation for producing outstanding Sauvignon Blanc. Lomond Estate takes its name from the regions' landmark, Ben Lomond Mountain - which was named by Scottish survivors of HMS Birkenhead, a troop ship which sank off the coast in 1852.
