The Wine Palate are independant online wine merchants specialising in boutique vineyard and smaller production wines. Most of the vineyards who make our wines are family owned and award winning and you won't find the wines in the supermarkets. Our reputation has been built on quality, and the wines we sell are sourced carefully from highly respected vineyards. You will only find quality wines made with tender loving care on our website - so you can always be assured of quality.

That doesn't mean that our wines are expensive, you can buy wines on our website for under £6.00 - and you will find that they defy their price point with the quality they offer.

We make your online wine shopping an easy experience. If you know what you are looking for, searching is simple; search by your favourite type of wine e.g. Pinot Grigio, search by your favourite wine producing country, search by the type of food you are planning to eat or search by your budget. All our wines are shown with detailed tasting notes and food pairing information. We also have some guides to help you along with your selection, have a look at our One Minute Wine Guide, our Wine Dictionery and our comprehensive Food Pairing Guide.

Our Wine Tasting Events are monthly at venues around Glasgow, see our Forthcoming Events page for more information on the dates and venues. These can be a useful way to try new wines that you may not have previously considered or indeed, have heard of. Our events are fun, informative and informal. We provide lots of information on the day about the wine types, wine regions and how to match your food with wine. There are usually up to 12 wines to try at each event and we always have a good selection of wines from different countries for you to experiment with. Coming up to Christmas we will have a fabulous selection of Gift Ideas for wine lovers - exclusive wines (limited production and unique wines for those extra special presents) and beautiful presentation boxes to put the finishing touch to your gifts.
