Organic Wine
In general, organic wine is wine made from grapes grown in accordance with organic farming principles which typically excludes the use of artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. The benefits of organic wines are a reduction in the amount of pollutants in the air from the farming process and the health benefits in avoiding chemicals in consumption.
The newest crop of organic wines are noted for their clean fruity character and are also said to display a more distinct terroir than their non-organic counterparts.
